Working with the freshest seasonal foods, Marion creates a menu inspired by her travels. And while you might not know exactly what to expect,
you can be sure it will tantalise and delight. From Spain to South-east Asia to the Middle East and beyond – the influences might be far flung, but the produce is decidedly local and first class.
With unpolluted skies, soils and ocean and resolutely remaining GM-free,
South Australia has a reputation for being a foodie’s paradise. So free range Berkshire pork, Tumby Bay lamb, local beef, famous Coffin Bay oysters, bluefin tuna, sea urchins, sand crabs, sardines and other fish from the pristine waters of the region all make it onto the menu. These are complemented by a range of locally grown produce – from olives, honey and pistachios to the freshest herbs and vegetables.
Dining at The Oysterbeds is not the only way to experience Marion’s food.
She also puts her talents to picnic baskets, takeaway platters, beach feasts, camp oven cook-ups, cakes to order, farmer’s market stalls and private and function catering.
